چکیده
This paper proposes a novel transmission policy for wireless powered sensor network (WPSN) assisted by an intelligent reflecting surface (IRS) to enhance the performance of energy transfer (WET) and information (WIT) with certain phase shifts. To achieve its self-sustainability, IRS collects from station support own control circuit operation. Our proposed considered WPSN is called harvest-then-transmit time switching (IRS-HTT-TS), which capable schedule slots between collection reflection modes. We provide joint design slots, power allocation as well discrete shifts WET WIT, aiming maximize system sum throughput. formulates problem mixed-integer non-linear program (MINLP), NP-hard non-convex. effectively solve this problem, we first relax it one continuous shifts, then propose two-step approach decompose original into two sub-problems. address sub-problem in closed form respect WIT. For second sub-problem, apply Lagrange dual method Karush-Kuhn-Tucker conditions derive optimal closed-form allocation, shift WET, respectively. The can be obtained quantizing values. Numerical results demonstrate effectiveness validate beneficial role comparison benchmark schemes.

On the other hand, there is not a comprehensive framework to classify routing algorithms in wireless sen...
متن کاملA Novel Ensemble Approach for Anomaly Detection in Wireless Sensor Networks Using Time-overlapped Sliding Windows
One of the most important issues concerning the sensor data in the Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) is the unexpected data which are acquired from the sensors. Today, there are numerous approaches for detecting anomalies in the WSNs, most of which are based on machine learning methods. In this research, we present a heuristic method based on the concept of “ensemble of classifiers” of data minin...

متن کاملA Secure Routing Algorithm for Underwater Wireless Sensor Networks
Recently, underwater Wireless Sensor Networks (UWSNs) attracted the interest of many researchers and the past three decades have held the rapid progress of underwater acoustic communication. One of the major problems in UWSNs is how to transfer data from the mobile node to the base stations and choosing the optimized route for data transmission. Secure routing in UWSNs is necessary for packet d...
متن کاملRouting Hole Handling Techniques for Wireless Sensor Networks: A Review
A Wireless Sensor Network consists of several tiny devices which have the capability to sense and compute the environmental phenomenon. These sensor nodes are deployed in remote areas without any physical protections. A Wireless Sensor Network can have various types of anomalies due to some random deployment of nodes, obstruction and physical destructions. These anomalies can diminish the sensi...
